Infinite Cosmos: Gaia’s Gallery and the Light Market
First Friday PDX Friday PDX is excited to partner with the Portland Winter Light Festival and Gia’s Gallery for a First Friday unlike any other. Inspired by the swirling clouds of the stars, and the strange and mysterious life of the deep sea, Infinite Cosmos will bridge the Abyssal and Celestial realms. Featuring the deep sea planetarium, cosmic creatures will swim in starry depths above, while vendors, performers, and installations fill the halls below.
About the event
- The event will take place on February 6 and 7, in coordination with the Portland Winter Light Festival (PDXWLF)
- The event will run from 6 – 9 PM
- The location will be the Bridge Space Building (133 SE Madison St, Portland, OR), one block away from the Electric Blocks PDXWLF hub
Who is welcome
- Everyone is welcome
- All forms of creative expression are welcome, including 2d visual art, sculpture, jewelry making, music, and performance
- Local vendors and community groups are also welcome to participate
Fees and Registration
- Vendor fees $50 for both nights, $20 – $30 for one night
- Free for light based artists and vendors
- Please register before Jan 15, 2025 at 5:00 PM
Provided Space
- Spaces will be assigned within the enclosed and heated main space of Bridge Space
- Participants are responsible for providing their own equipment and supplies, including any needed tables, chairs, canopies, or display equipment
- Setup begins at 4 pm., and will be required to finish takedown by 11 PM
